"Dear Grandchild,"
Dear Grandchild,

Below are the words that are the "Secret to Life."
If you will put God first in your life, every second
and put the welfare of others before yourself,
you will lead a life of peace and happiness.
God offers you a life without fear, fight or failure.
If you worship him, you have nothing to fear since
everything that happens to you is by His will.
If you suffer the criticisms or judgments of others rather than fight,
you will never regret it and you will always be undefeated.
If you always try your best and put Him first you will never fail.
Any failure in your life will be by His will and not your fault.
God expects each of us to live our life as Jesus did.
We must lead a life of sacrifice, suffering and service to others.
I know these words seem strange and seem very difficult to do
but they work.
You can try them for a day and see how they work.
Those who made you mad before no longer upset you.
If teasing no longer upsets you they will tease you less.
Bad luck is not a problem anymore as you now have patience.
Interruptions are now chances to help others.
You will find you will be happier and your luck will be better.
These words will give you a power most others do not have.
As you follow these words each day you will feel that power.
Living your life this/His way is its own reward.
Always keep these words close to you and read them often.
They will mean more to you as you get older.
Once you master these words and turn your whole life over to God
You will enter a matrix in this world that you did not know existed.
A matrix of peace, joy and fulfillment.
Discuss these words with your Mom and Dad.
They will help explain them to you and answer your questions.

God Bless and be safe.
Granddaddy

PS: Be sure to thank God all during the day for His small blessings
and pray to Him each morning and night... And read your Bible daily.

Matthew 5:38-48New King James Version (NKJV)

Go the Second Mile
38 "You have heard that it was said, 'An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.' 39 But I tell you not
to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also. 40 If
anyone wants to sue you and take away your tunic, let him have your cloak also. 41 And whoever
compels you to go one mile, go with him two. 42 Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants
to borrow from you do not turn away.

Love Your Enemies
43 "You have heard that it was said, 'You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' 44 But I
say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray
for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, 45 that you may be sons of your Father in
heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the
unjust. 46 For if you love those who love you, what reward have you? Do not even the tax collectors
do the same? 47 And if you greet your brethren[d] only, what do you do more than others? Do not
even the tax collectors do so? 48 Therefore you shall be perfect, just as your Father in heaven is
perfect.
